GuestCam.io is the data controller for the processing of personal data collected through the service.

2. What information do we collect?

• Event email: the email address you provide when creating an event.
• Uploaded files: photos and videos uploaded by guests to an event.
• Session ID: an anonymous, randomly generated ID used to limit the number of uploads per guest. It is not linked to a person.

3. Purpose of processing

• To deliver the service – guests can upload and you can view and download the content.
• To enforce the upload limit per guest.
• To send you your gallery link and any receipts.

4. Retention and deletion

All files and event data are automatically deleted at the event's expiry date (7, 14, 30, or 60 days after creation, depending on the chosen period). Your email address is not retained longer than necessary to deliver the service.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not share your information with third parties except the following data processors:

• Supabase Inc. – database and file storage (EU data centre, Frankfurt).
• Vercel Inc. – application hosting (EU region).
• Resend Inc. – sending transactional emails (confirmations and notifications).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. Contact us at support@guestcam.io to exercise your rights.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

7. Cookies

We only use strictly necessary session cookies. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
